Forty-eight years ago, on January 22, 1973, the U.S. Supreme Court took away the right to life of unborn children. Instead of protecting life, the Court made it the role of government to protect killing. In the ensuing forty-six years, over 60 million American babies have been killed by being surgically ripped from the safety and warmth of their mothers’ wombs. Millions more have been killed by so-called “contraceptives” including the birth control pill, morning after pill, patches, implants, and injections — all of which can cause very early abortions.
To help bring about a culture of life and love — where every life is protected — Lorain County Right to Life will again conduct an Ad and Billboard Campaign through local churches and other organizations, asking signees to publicly proclaim their Pro-Life stand.
In past years, print ads with sponsor names have consumed over half the Campaign budget, and most of the cost was to accommodate the many names of our supporters. Those print ads, which ran for only one day, were reaching a steadily decreasing number of subscribers.
Beginning in January 2021, to make the most impact, the newspaper ads will have larger graphics and no names. In addition, we hope to increase online advertising (newspaper websites, Facebook and other social media, etc.). Online ads can reach a larger, younger audience than newspaper (print) ads and can run for a week or more. And we will continue to present our message on full-color Pro-Life billboards throughout Lorain County. The billboards are often left up for many weeks and reach a broad audience.
Our goal is to streamline our advertising to get more impact for the same or even less cost!
Print ads (graphics only) will be published in Lorain County newspapers on or about January 22, 2021 — the 48th anniversary of the 1973 Supreme Court Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton decisions that decriminalized abortion throughout all nine months of pregnancy. An online version of the ad (graphics and names) will appear on our website (click here to see last year’s online ad). Although we won’t be printing the sponsors’ names in the newspapers, those names will still be prominently displayed on our website in order to acknowledge the extreme importance of our sponsors. All print and online ads will have a link to the sponsor names on our website.
Please join us in standing for the protection of all human life.
Sponsor names and donations are critical for this campaign to succeed!
The sign-up process for the Campaign will be similar to in past years. However, because many churches and organizations are not meeting as they normally would, we are providing additional materials and suggestions on how to conduct the Campaign on-line or by mail. Please see below for details.
You can use the links below to download everything you need to gather signatures and donations within your church, workplace, family, and other organizations. The deadline for returns of names and donations is Friday, January 8, 2021; and should be sent to LORAIN COUNTY RIGHT TO LIFE, P.O. BOX 207, ELYRIA, OH 44036-0207.
If you would like to make an extra donation specifically toward the success of this Campaign, please use our secure online donation page.
If you have any questions about the Bring America Back to Life Ad Campaign, or would like to get in touch about anything else, please use our Contact Us Form or call the Campaign chairman, Dan Kaighin at 440-988-8985.
Thank you and God bless you for your efforts and prayers for the unborn, their moms and dads, and for the Pro-Life movement.

Lorain County Right to Life was chartered in 1977 to counteract the evil that had been initiated by the U.S. Supreme Court Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton decisions in January of 1973 that forced every state in the U.S. to decriminalize abortion on demand throughout all nine months of pregnancy. Since that time, Lorain County Right to Life has been a steadfast proponent of the protection of all human life from conception to natural death. Join us in defending life!
